Johnny Depp is an internationally renowned American actor, musician, and producer. He has starred in numerous films such as Edward Scissorhands (1990), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007) and the Pirates of the Caribbean series. Depp was born on June 9th 1963 in Owensboro Kentucky to parents Betty Sue Palmer and John Christopher Depp II. Before embarking on his career as a professional actor, he made appearances in TV shows like 21 Jump Street(1987-90). In 1990 Johnny broke into stardom with Tim Burton's fantasy comedy film Edward Scissorhands where he portrayed an artificially created character living alone in suburbia whose scissor hands were both a blessing but also haunted him due to lack of fitting into society which gave rise to some very powerful scenes that touched many hearts around world making it one still remembered cult classic today!
