Jenna Ortega is an American actress and model who has appeared in films such as Iron Man 3 and Stuck in the Middle. She was born on September 27, 2002, to Mexican-American parents Jesús “Jesse” (a musician) and Ruedes Galvan Ortega (an interior designer), both immigrants from Mexico. Raised with her older sister Mayra, she attended Santa Clarita Christian School until eighth grade before leaving public schooling for homeschooling because of bullying after being cast in 2012 at age nine. Ortega made her acting debut when she was 9 years old playing Sarah Roberts on Disney Channel's hit show Jessie alongside Debby Ryan; it ran four seasons from 2011–2015). After this role ended she starred as Harley Diaz (the middle child of a large family) on Stuck In The Middle which ran two season 2016–2018).
